November 2nd is the day that could potentially mark the end of Barack Obama’s forced march toward a socialist America, according to a public opinion poll.

It’s Election Day for the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.

Long ago, some of us predicted the true meaning of Barack Obama’s 2008 slick presidential campaign of “hope and change.” The Sovereign Society has repeatedly exposed his socialist schemes during the 18 months of this ultra-leftist president’s one term.

A few weeks ago Erika Nolan, our Executive Director, and I spoke at Freedom Fest in Las Vegas.

More than 2,200 people attended. Every one of our Sovereign Society seminars was standing room only.

Eager attendees filled the room to hear us and our investment director, Eric Roseman, plus Thomas Fischer, SVP of Jyske Bank and a member for our Council of Experts. Noted offshore expert CPA Vern Jacobs also joined us to speak on expatriation.

The Concerns of People Like You…

During our three-day stay at Freedom Fest, our exhibit table was constantly jammed with people asking questions about every aspect of offshore.

They wanted to know about asset protection, trusts, family foundations, dual citizenship and second passports, expatriation, banking, investment, currencies, annuities, life insurance, living abroad, taxes and tax havens.

Why? Because of the radical policies of those in power in Washington. Policies imposed on Americans that threaten their wealth and their family’s welfare.

Many attendees with whom we met were Sovereign Society members, and a surprising number had also joined the Freedom Alliance, which I have the honor to serve as chairman.

Whatever the Outcome

Many of you know I was active in politics for many years in Maryland, serving in the State Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives. I know politics.
That’s why I don’t think we can depend on the November election results as a long-term solution for the problems facing our country and each of us as individuals.

If the polls are correct, the radical leftists led by House Speaker Nanci Pelosi and Senator Harry Reid will suffer more than reduced majorities. They may lose control completely.

But whichever political party gains control of Congress, Obama will still be president with the veto power.

Remember That List?

My point – all those issues that were raised by our many questioners at Freedom Fest, (glance up the page and read the list again), need to be answered to your satisfaction as well. And without regard to who controls the power in Washington.
