Derek R. Sambrook is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners in the United Kingdom and obtained the Trustee Diploma of the Institute of Bankers in South Africa in 1973, becoming a Fellow of the institute in 1996. Hubert Jongen is known as the “founding father of the European Libertarian movement.” Hubert helped found the libertarian society known as the Libertarian/BENELUX Center in Holland. This society was the first Dutch liberty group, and one of the first in Europe. Hubert later served as Director of International Society Individual Liberty. Both Hubert and his wife, Rita, have strived for Libertarian values by serving Libertarian International. In 2000, Hubert became Libertarian International’s president. Rita also served as Vice President for Libertarian International, a sister organization which coordinates the work of European classical liberals and libertarians.
Pierre Lemieux works as a libertarian economist, author, professor, and consultant. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management Sciences at the University of Quebec at Hall, Quebec, Canada. Pierre also serves as co-director of the Economics and Liberty Research Group at the University of Quebec, and is a Research Fellow at the Independent Institute, a research group committed to spreading awareness of public policy issues and fostering new directions for economic reform.
Pierre is also regarded as one of the most influential libertarian writers today. Pierre’s books have been translated into several foreign languages including English, Turkish and Japanese. His books include
Smoking and Liberty: Government as a Public Health Problem, L’anarchocapitalisme and Du libéralisme à l’anarcho-capitalisme, which discuss both classical liberalism and libertarianism. Pierre is also a columnist at

Vince Miller serves as President of the International Society for Individual Liberty, an organization of both individuals and associations dedicated to promoting peace and prosperity throughout the world. ISIL works to preserve individual liberties and an open and competitive economic system based on voluntary exchange and free trade. Vince also founded Libertarian International at the University of Michigan in 1980. Libertarian International later merged with the older Society for Individual Liberty to form the present-day International Society for Individual Liberty.
